The Fedora Project Part 3...
I don’t know what it is about this hat, but I am utterly obsessed with it! It kind of makes me feel cool, mysterious, and put together, all at the same time! Every time I wear a fedora, you know who seems to like it the most? Little old men! It’s so completely cute. I think it reminds them of their day when they used to wear them. Sometimes, they will tell me, “I have that same hat at home”! I don’t know whether to laugh or cry!
This outfit I wore to a singing gig with the band that I am in. The event was a wedding and we had a rockin good time! The colors we had to wear were black and white, which can be difficult to make look interesting. I love the combination of these masculine and feminine pieces. It creates a look that's not too precious! This dress from H&M I've had for a couple of years and have worn it for so many different occasions. It has pockets on the sides, which adds a little curve to my shape. If you are curvy and don't want to add more to your hips, avoid side pockets. They add extra weight and attract more attention to your hips. If you need a little extra oomph like me, side pockets create that hour glass shape that you desire! Any detail on your clothing like a ruffle or ruching is going to accentuate the body part it is on. So if you have things you want to hide, avoid details that draw attention to them!
