For The Everyday Woman

These are a few guidelines I use when choosing my outfits! From my heart to yours! Enjoy!

**A belted waist is a miracle worker in making your body look proportioned.

**Nothing completes an outfit more than a fitted jacket.

**What makes an outfit stand out is the little details; whether it be a ruffle, stud, pattern, texture, etc.

**Fit is the key to looking put together. Since I'm small I have to alter almost everything. It's a pain, but completely worth it!

**Old fashion rules are a thing of the past, so go ahead and wear your white pants after Labor Day, mix gold and silver jewelry and you don't have to match your purse to your bag! Wear those black peeptoe heels with a yellow purse instead!

**Wear dresses MORE and jeans less! A cotton dress can be just as comfortable if not more than a pair of jeans. I'm sure your man will like it too!

**Be creative and add pops of color to neutral outfits (i.e. brown, grey, black, white). One of my favorite color combos is khaki, white, turquoise and coral. I absolutely ADORE turquoise!

**When attending an event and you're not sure
of the dress code, it is better to be overdressed than under-dressed. Your favorite LBD (little black dress) is a fail safe option. Mix it up by wearing a bright colored shoe and a layered necklace instead of the predictable black shoe.

**One statement piece of jewelry, or in my case several pieces of statement jewelry (I like to be as ridiculously accessorized as possible), can make a plain outfit sparkle!

**Lastly, wear that outfit with confidence! Even if it turns out to be a fashion faux pas, at least you had fun rocking it!
