Biker jacket + lace = totally amazing!  When I saw it I thought… "How interesting!  I must have it!"  It's tough yet so incredibly girlie!  I'm extremely into this army green color at the moment.  It's going to be really big for the fall season, but I like to get started early.  These pants were actually wide leg linen trousers.  I tailored them myself to make them taper at the bottom so I could roll them up.  Remember, you don't always have to wear the article of clothing the way it was meant to be worn.  You can be creative and change it up.  If a dress comes with a matching belt...switch the belt with a different one.  Want to make that black cardigan more special?  Change the plain buttons for some military style buttons.  One of the most fun aisles at the craft store is the button aisle!  They carry every kind of button you can imagine!  Even if you don't sew, this is a fairly easy task.  But if you must, take it to a tailor.  They can be your best friend when it comes to clothes!

This jacket is a statement all by itself, so no statement jewelry needed.  I just added a simple green necklace and metallic heels.  Now that we are dwindling down to the end of summer, it is a good idea to purchase items that transition easily to fall.  That way you don't have to wait eight months to wear it again!  It is still ridiculously hot where I live, so lightweight fabric is completely necessary.  It is my color palette that has changed.  Long gone is my desire to buy bright summery dresses.  It has been replaced by more muted tones like green, grey and brown.  I suspect it is because I just want summer to end already so I can wear my knee high boots, tights and military blazers.  Fall style is just so much fun!  I can't wait to show you!
